Remember The Milk are awesome.
I’ve been using Remember The Milk for almost a year now and I’ve found it an invaluable tool for staying on top of all my… stuff. From my half-arsed GTD lists, to information about family gatherings, birthdays, and appointments, you name it, I have it in Remember The Milk.
I especially rely upon Remember The Milk’s iPhone application and Push Notifications to remind me of doctors and psychologist appointments—which I always know are “coming up”, but I forget more specific information like when and sometimes where…
So when I got a notification this week saying my Pro account was about to expire, I was very sad. I’ve not been working recently due to depression and medication changes, which has meant I’m on sickness benefits. I’m hoping to return to work soon, but in the meantime that’s meant I’ve had to miss out on a lot of things, and it looked like Remember The Milk was about to be one of them.
I contacted Remember The Milk to explain my current situation, and was initially advised I could use SMS messaging instead of push notifications—but I wrote back that it is not supported in Australia. I thought I might have go to without Remember The Milk for a little while.
Thankfully, Remember The Milk have granted me a reprieve: they have extended my account for six months, while I get back on my feet. So I would like to say a very, very big THANK YOU to Remember The Milk. Their product is awesome and helps keep me organised (especially when my own memory is unreliable) and now I can definitively say their people are awesome too. Thank you again!
