Welcome to my brand new blog. I’ve just removed the test entries and it’s time for me to get started. This time I will remember to keep a backup.
To start, a little about me.
My name is Taryn Hicks (@tarale on Twitter) and I am a young interactive developer with Freerange Future in Adelaide. I specialise in XHTML and CSS, and I am working to build my skills in DOM Scripting, PHP, and Ruby.
In my spare time, I enjoy visiting the Adelaide Cinémathèque, cheering on our lovely Adelaide Roller Derby girls, participating in the Adelaide Twitter group, and volunteering at the Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club. Oh, and I absolutely love Chocolate, and I really like Neon Genesis Evangelion. I also suffer from Major Depressive Disorder, which sometimes makes these interests difficult, but for the most part I am OK.
I intend to blog about most of the above, in particular what’s going on in and around Adelaide and my interests and growth as an interactive developer. I hope you will join me.
